Under FAQ-
1. What are your fees?
The fee is $ 40 an hour with a 4-hour daytime minimum
2. Do you offer overnights?
Not at this time, but I may in the future. However, I can stay until 9 pm and we can discuss options.
3. Do we have to have a prenatal consultation or can I hire you as is?
You do not have to have a prior prenatal consult with me! Many folks don’t realize they would want/need a prenatal doula until the baby arrives. I would encourage folks to have a consultation during pregnancy but if not, no worries!
4. What does a postpartum doula do?
My primary focus is mom and baby. I can answer mom's questions and help her get adjusted to a new routine. I can also help make your home run smoothly- from picking up groceries, meal prep, pet care, laundry and dishes, assisting with other kids, caring for the newborn, help with breastfeeding, bottle cleaning, and so much more!
5. How do I hire you as a postpartum doula?
Contact me for a free consultation. We will review fees and answer any questions you have. Next, you pick the number of hours you want support and I will create a postpartum support plan with you. Once you pay, I will add you to our calendar and start serving you on the days and times agreed upon. *babies come when they are ready so we may have to change our dates and times for early babies etc
6. What if I want more hours?
You are welcome to purchase more hours after the first ones have been used. I will do my best to honor the hours you request given my availability. Payment must be made before I come to support you.
9. What if I am unsure how many hours I want?
I know that with a newborn, the situation changes daily and we can be flexible for you. For instance, some families think they will want a pp doula the first few days home from the hospital and then change their mind and want to wait. I recommend that you pick the best time of day that you need the most support right now. Then, you can add more time as needed. Our rate is $40 an hour. Feel free to email me at: leaanne@nestedrested.com
10. How do I pay?
Once we have had our free consultation and you complete the contract, I will send you an invoice with a link to pay.
11. What payment do you accept?
We accept a variety of payments including Cash, Check, Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay, and credit cards. Payment is due before my shift to serve you begins. Once you have signed the contract we will send you a payment invoice with a link to pay. If you want to pay a different way than noted on your invoice, please notify us.
